NTL BOYS' TENNIS: TOWANDA FALLS TO MONTOURSVILLE (2021-05-04)

MONTOURSVILLE — Towanda fell to Montoursville 5-0 in non-league boys’ tennis action Tuesday. The match was a make-up from Monday that got rained out.

At first singles Jaden Wise lost 6-1, 6-0 to Andrew Stapp, while at second singles Dacion Yrigollen fell 6-0, 6-0 to Jared Matlack. At third singles Rein Alderfer lost 6-1, 6-3 to Tyler Gilbert.

At first doubles the Knight duo of Luke Tavani, and Ethan Dillman fell 6-2, 6-3 to D.J. Alexander, and Greyson Simms. At second doubles Ryan O’Connor, and Aidan Hennessy lost 6-0, 6-1 to Aidan Morrow, and Kaleb Watts.

Towanda will now get ready for the District IV Singles Tournament Saturday, and the District IV team competition next week.
