AAU SOFTBALL: GREENLAND, TITANS FALL IN EYOTA CLASSIC SEMIS (2021-07-11)

APALACHIN, N.Y. — The N.Y. Titans came up short in the Eyota Classic Gold Bracket semifinal Sunday, falling to the Fury 2-1.

Towanda’s Shaylee Greenland pitched the first three innings for the Titans, striking out one while allowing three hits, and two runs. Greenland held the Fury off the scoreboard the first two innings, but they broke through in the third to go up 2-0.

The Titans were able to get a run in the sixth on a home run to cut it to 2-1, but couldn’t make the full comeback. They were held to three hits the whole game.
