ON TAP FOR TODAY: A SOCCER AND GOLF DAY (2020-09-23)

Four soccer games and an NTL golf match are on the docket for today.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

NP-Mansfield (0-1-1) at Wyalusing (2-1), 4 p.m.: After having their match at Towanda cancelled the Lady Rams will begin the week at home as they host the Tigers. Wyalusing is coming off a loss last Saturday after starting the year 2-0.

NEB (0-4) at Williamson (1-3-1), 4 p.m.: The Panthers search for their first win of the season on the road as the Warriors look build off last week’s momentum. NEB might be winless but two of their losses have been by just a goal.

BOYS’ SOCCER

Troy (2-2) at Towanda (0-2), 4 p.m.: An NTL match-up as both teams look to turn around recent losses. The Knights are coming off a loss to Wellsboro while the Trojans had a set back against NEB on Monday.

GOLF

NTL at Shepard Hills, 2 p.m.: A rare second match of the week for the NTL as NP-Mansfield swept on Monday at Tioga Country Club in Nichols, N.Y. Wyalusing will look to improve on their sixth place finish at Tioga while Towanda missed that match due to school being closed. The Knights did take second at a match at Eagles Mere on Tuesday.
