ATHENS — Wyalusing held strong, but ultimately fell 1-0 to Athens in NTL girls’ soccer action Friday.

Emma Roe’s first-half goal was the difference in the contest. 

She was assisted by Mya Thompson.

Athens outshot Wyalusing 13-4 and had a 7-4 edge in corner kicks. Pearl O’Connor made eight saves in net for the Rams.
