NTL BOYS' SOCCER: NEB EDGES WILLIAMSON ON 2 PENALTY KICKS (2020-09-26)

TIOGA JUNCTION - Northeast Bradford used two penalty kicks to edge Williamson 3-2 in NTL boys’ soccer action Saturday.


The Panthers led 2-1 at the half with a penalty in each half.


It was Williamson scoring first just over 10 minutes into the contest. The lead didn’t last long as 20 seconds later Brandon Kuhn buried a penalty kick to even up the score.


Then at 11:12 Kuhn found Gavin Merritt for a goal and a 2-1 lead.


In the second half NEB went up 3-1 as Julian Jampo buried the penalty kick. Williamson cut it to 3-2 as Joel Hultz scored but, the Panthers kept the Warriors away to secure the win.


NEB had 17 shots on goal and six corner kicks as Garrett Cooper made 14 saves. Williamson had 16 shots on goal.
