TOWANDA — North Penn-Liberty scored three second half goals to break a 1-1 tie with Towanda and win 4-1 in NTL boys’ soccer action Saturday.

Vinny Carbo had the lone Black Knight goal off a Talon Irish assist.

Taylor Nelson, Caiden Alexander, Dalton Litzelman and Aladin Jackson had the four NPL goals.

The Knights had plenty of good chances in the second half as they and the Mounties shared possession back and forth. They just couldn’t get the right touch in the final third to put it in the net.

The two teams had 12 shots a piece with NPL getting the only corner kick. Austin Fowler made nine saves for Towanda in net.
