NTL VOLLEYBALL: CANTON SWEEPS TROY DURING ANNUAL PINK OUT MATCH (2021-10-23)

TROY — Canton earned their third straight win this week as they swept Troy 3-0 during their annual Pink Out match Saturday.

The Warriors won the sets 25-12, 25-6, and 25-8.


Rachel Martin had 24 points, seven aces, three kills, three digs, and one assist, as Marissa Ostrander notched 13 points, three aces, and five digs.


Trisha Gilbert had six points, an ace, a kill, and two digs, while Keri Wesneski finished with six points, four aces, five kills, and five digs.


Allyson Butcher had four points, one kill, five digs, and 14 assists, with Aislyn Williams getting three points, three kills, three digs, and a block.


Mae Kinner notched five points, two aces, two kills, and a dig, while Jillaney Hartford had a kill with two blocks. Hannah Kendall chipped in with a point, and a dig.


Madison Vargas had three points, two kills, one assist, and five digs for Troy while Meredith Cole had nine digs, one point, and three kills.


Tailynn Stahle had nine digs, and three assists, as Lydia Lewis had a point, and two digs. Alyssa Johnson also had a point, with two digs, as well.


Jalayna Young had a kill, while Alexis Bellinger had an assist.


Tyra Williams had seven digs, Diana Samuels finished with five, while Josie Kerrick and Kali Ayres both had two.


Canton won the JV match 25-19, 25-23.


Marlee Stanton had nine points for Troy, while Ayres and Alannah Porter each had five. Ayres also had two kills.


Rylee Harding, Natalie Pesesky, Olivia Champluvier, and Sarah Zimmerman each had one kill.
