NTL WRESTLING: WYALUSING WORKING HARD IN THE MAT ROOM (2021-11-23)

WYALUSING — The mat room was busy in Wyalusing as the Rams were preparing for another wrestling season on Tuesday. The grapplers are excited at the prospects of a more ‘normal’ year after dealing with Covid all last winter.

“It’s fantastic, and - knock on wood - we stay that way,” said Wyalusing coach Michael Earle. “Everything looks like we’re going to have a much more normal season than we had last year.”

They’re hoping to be able to fill out a 13-man line-up this season.

“We working at it,” Earle said. “We recruited a little bit to get some younger guys at the lighter weights, but we’ve got lots of competition from 138 on up.”
