COLLEGE: TROY GRAD SEYMOUR GETS WIN FOR LEHIGH AGAINST ARMY (2022-02-06)

WEST POINT — Troy graduate Sheldon Seymour had a successful return to the Lehigh line-up against Army on Sunday.

Seymour won 14-4 over Army’s Ryan Chauvin at 125 pounds. Seymour had two takedowns, and a two point near fall in the first period en route to the win.

His coach Pat Santoro described him as a ‘buzzsaw,’ in their school’s press release.

“We knew he’d go out and look for bonus points,” said Santoro. “We knew bonus points would be big, and he went out for the team and got it. He was looking to score from the first whistle to the last whistle. That’s what you ask for from your team, to go out and try and score points the whole time.”

Lehigh lost the match, though, 24-13.
