COLLEGE: THREE LOCALS SEE TIME FOR LHU SOFTBALL (2022-05-07)

Three local girls wrapped up their collegiate softball season at Lock Haven University recently.

Troy’s Riley McClellan was an everyday starter, while freshmen Wyalusing’s Hailey Jayne and Troy’s Hunter McClellan also saw time on the diamond, as LHU went 19-18 on the year.

Riley McClellan hit .261 for the season, with 19-RBI, five doubles, four triples, and five home runs. She also scored 38 times.

Jayne finished the year with five pitching appearances, for a 3.89 ERA, with one strikeout. She threw for a total of nine innings, with 14 hits, seven walks, and nine runs, only five of which were earned.

Hunter McClellan only had two appearances on the year, scoring one run.
