ROME — Wyalusing rebounded from their loss to Wellsboro with a 19-0 in four innings win over NEB during NTL baseball action Tuesday.
After a scoreless first, the Rams put up seven runs in the second, four more in the third, and then notched eight in the fourth.
Blake Morningstar (2-for-3) and Nick Vanderpool Jr. (2-for-3) both had doubles, with Vanderpool scoring twice, while driving in a run, as Morningstar had 2-RBI, for Wyalusing.
Kevin VanDeMark (2-for-3) had three runs scored, and 3-RBI, while Kenny Mapes (1-for-2) had a triple with two runs, and an RBI.
Trehnon Hugo (1-for-3) and Robert English (1-for-2) each had a double. Hugo scored three times, and knocked two in, with English scoring once with 2-RBI.
Jacob Bruyn (1-for-3) had two runs, and 2-RBI, Kaeden Kuzsmier (1-for-1) scored a run, and C.J. Carr (1-for-2) scored three times, while driving in three.
Hugo went the first two innings, striking out two with one walk to get the win. Carr pitched an inning, with two strikeouts, and one hit, while VanDeMark went the final inning, striking out one with one hit.
Garrett Cooper (2-for-2) was perfect from the plate for NEB, while Ethan Hunsinger (1-for-1) also had a hit.
Clay Wiggins got the start, and went 1 1/3-innings with one strikeout, one walk, seven hits, and seven earned runs to take the loss.
Cooper went an inning, allowing two walks, two hits, and three earned runs, while Joe Stanton pitched two-thirds, with four walks, four hits, and nine runs, four of which were earned.
Riley Welch pitched the final inning, with just a hit batsmen.
NEB hosts Sayre on Thursday, while Wyalusing hosts Wallenpaupack at 3:30 p.m.
