B.C. PREDATORS GO 4-1 AT HONESDALE DUALS (2022-05-15)

HONESDALE — The B.C. Predators, a team made up of wrestlers from NEB, Wyalusing, Sayre, and Hughesville, went 4-1 at the Honesdale Viper Duals on Sunday.

The Predators defeated Crown City (Cortland, N.Y.) 60-30, the host Vipers 55-28, the Honesdale Gracie/Vipers 40-33, and Athens 58-28. Their lone loss was 46-32 to Delaware Valley.


Hughesville’s Caiden Puderbach (142/150, 11th) went 5-0 along with Wyalusing’s Wyatt Spencer (85/95, 6th), as the two undefeated wrestlers on the team.


Sayre’s Drayton Dekay (85/95, 7th), NEB’s Hunter Comstock (121, 8th), and NEB’s Mason Alexander (105, 8th) all went 5-1, with Hughesville’s Kadin Fetterman (158, 11th), and Sayre’s Jordan Brown (128, 7th) going 4-1.


Hughesville’s Keagan Smith (165, 9th) went 4-2, as Wyalusing’s Logan Wood (75, 6th) and Wyalusing’s Cole Patrick (114, 8th) went 3-2.


Ram Cade McMicken (135, 10th) was 3-3, while NEB’s Dominic Clark (175, 9th) went 2-3. Panther Kale Howland (142/150, 7th) was 1-3, with Wyalusing’s Zach Fenton (215, 10th) finishing 0-5.
