For the Knights, Chase Parker (2-for-3) had a double with 2-RBI to lead Towanda, while Jack Wheaton (1-for-2), Octavious Chacona (1-for-2), and Alex Bowman (1-for-3) also had hits. Wheaton scored twice, as Teagan Irish, and Chacona both scored.

Chacona started, and went five innings to take the loss, striking out eight with two walks, seven hits, and five runs, two of which were earned.

Bowman went the final two innings, striking out two with two walks, and one hit.

Troy would take two runs in the first inning off a pair of errors. Chimics led off with a single, then, after an out, Schucker reached on an error.

Chimics would later score on a throwing error, followed by Schucker reaching home on an error off the bat of Camden Allen.

Towanda would get the run back in the bottom of the inning as Jack Wheaton led off with a walk, then, with two outs, he stole home to make it 2-1.

In the third Schucker hit a 1-out single, stole second, and, on a steal attempt of third the throw to the base was errant, allowing him to score, making it 3-1.

The Knights would strike back in the bottom half of the inning, as Wheaton led off with a single. After a walk to Irish, both were hit in by a Parker hit to knot the game up at 3-3.

Chacona would then reach on a fielder’s choice, followed by Bowman singling to keep the at bat going. Chacona would take home on a steal to make it 4-3, but Troy got out of the inning with a double play.

Then, in the fifth, Frye would lead things off with a hit, followed by Chimics reaching on an error. After an out was made, Schucker came through with the big hit, doubling in both Frye and Smith for the 5-4 lead.
