NTL TRACK & FIELD: NEB'S SEELEY TAKES FOURTH IN SHOT PUT AT D4 CHAMPIONSHIPS (2022-05-20)
Northern Tier Sports ReportWILLIAMSPORT — NEB’s Dan Seeley got on the podium in the boys’ shot put during the District IV, Class AA Track & Field Championships on Thursday.
Seeley took fourth in the event at 46-feet, 8-inches. His medal earning throw came on his final toss of the day, though, his first throw that he fouled on was close to the 50-foot mark.
His teammate Ethan Finch (42-feet, 9-inches) came in 10th, while the boys’ 4x800 relay of Aiden Kapr, Shakei Smith, Ryan Jones, and Brandon Kuhn was 11th in 8:53.27.
Austin Kithcart took 18th during the 110 hurdle preliminaries in 18.22.
For the girls Maisie Neuber was 19th in the discus at 72-feet, 3-inches, with Emma Neuber (67-feet, 5-inches) coming in 21st.
The District IV Championships will conclude on Saturday back at Williamsport High School with a 9 a.m. start time.
