LITTLE LEAGUE: TROY MINORS FALL TO SOUTHERN TIOGA (2022-06-27)

TROY — The Troy minors all-star baseball team fell to Southern Tioga during bracket play action Monday. The loss knocks Troy out of the tournament.

Southern led 8-2 after the third inning, but a 3-run top fourth cut it to 8-5. However, Southern held Troy scoreless over the final two innings to get the win.

Credence Heasley was 1-for-2 with a double, and 2-RBI, while Gavin Trick was 1-for-1 with a run scored, and 2-RBI.

Blaine Fish (1-for-4), Wyatt Judson (1-for-2), Parker Wright (1-for-2), and Trenton Vogel (1-for-1) also had hits. Judson, Anthony Jordan, Danny Gowin, and Kabe Renzo all scored runs.

Renzo went the first two innings, striking out two, while Fish pitched the final three innings, striking out six.
