THE SILVER BULLETS BLACK WIN TOURNAMENT TITLE (2022-07-03)

CORNING —The Silver Bullets Black 12U team won the FURYous 2022 Summer Softball Tournament on Sunday.

They defeated the Maroon 12-0, the Fury 4-2, and the Shock 10-4.

Against the Maroon Canton’s Jaylee Ward went 2-for-3 with a double, and three runs scored, while Troy’s Haidyn Watson was 2-for-2 with three runs, and 2-RBI. She also got the win the circle, striking out five.

Towanda’s Leila Cobb went 1-for-1 with a run scored, and an RBI.

In the win over the Fury Watson went 4-for-4 with a triple, and 3-RBI, while Ward was 2-for-4 with a run scored. Cobb went 1-for-3 with a run scored, and an RBI. She also pitched in the circle for the first four innings, striking out four.

Then in the final against the Shock Ward went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored, and 2-RBI, while Watson was 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, and an RBI. Cobb went 2-for-4 with a run scored, as well.
