NTL VOLLEYBALL: CANTON RALLIES TO BEAT NORTHEAST BRADFORD (2022-09-28)

ROME — Canton dropped the first set, but won the next three to down Northeast Bradford 3-1 during NTL volleyball action Tuesday.

The Panthers took the first game 25-17, but the Warriors held them off the next two 25-20 and 25-20, before securing the victory with a 25-16 win in the fourth set.

Aislyn Williams had 11 points, four aces, 10 kills, two assists, 18 digs, and four blocks for Canton, while Allyson Butcher added eight points, two aces, one kill, 25 assists, and 25 digs.

Jillaney Hartford added 19 points, three aces, 13 kills, one assist, seven digs, and one block, as Keri Wesneski finished with 16 points, two aces, six kills, and 12 digs.

Marissa Ostrander chipped in with 11 points, three aces, one kill, and 12 digs, with Kendall Kitchen recording nine points, six kills, three assists, and 13 digs, and Chelsea Lehman getting two kills, two digs, and one block.

Emma Neuber had 12 kills, 12 digs, and an assist for the Panthers, with Gabby Susanj getting 22 assists, nine digs, and two kills.

Toni Herb had 10 kills, 11 digs, and an assist, as Abby O’Connor had nine kills, three blocks, and two digs.

Kiarra DeLancey added 19 digs with a kill, Alexis Corter had three blocks, two assists, and two digs, and Kelsea Moore chipped in with nine digs, and two assists.

Canton held on to beat NEB in the JV match 2-1. The Panthers won the first set 25-15, Canton took the next 25-18, and then eked out a 15-13 win in the third set.

Addilyn Pepper had two aces, two kills, two digs, and 12 assists for the Warriors, with Tara Gilbert getting six aces, five kills, two digs, and an assist.

Charleigh Anderson had two aces, four kills, seven digs, and one assist, with Lehman adding an ace, two kills, two digs, and two assists.

Kitchen had three aces, and three digs, with Allyson Marbaker chipping behind four digs, and an assist. Abbey Marbaker had three kills, with one dig, as Gabby Thursby had a kill.

For NEB Sayde Heines had three kills, and one dig, as Amanda Allabaugh added two kills, and three digs. Kayah Fraser had one kill, and two digs, Kami Edsell had a kill and Abby Keeney each had a kill, while Keeney also had two digs.

Abby Chobot added seven assists to go with two digs, while Adrian Chobot and Jaylin Wheaton each had a dig.
