NTL GOLF: WYALUSING, TOWANDA GOLFERS EARN ALL-NTL HONORS (2022-09-29)

Area golfers were honored by NTL coaches this past week.

Athens’ Evan Cooper was named the NTL MVP for the golf season, and was joined on the NTL first team with Wyalusing’s Brody Fuhrey and Nick Salsman, NPM’s Andrew Green, CV’s Jordan Vargason, and Athens’ Dylan Saxon.

On the second team are Wyalusing’s Kaeden Kusmierz, Wellsboro’s Hayden Zuchowski, Hannalee Cleveland, and Blake Hamblin, Athens’ Cameron Sullivan and Brady Darrow, and NPM’s Eli Stein.

Towanda’s Carson Glantz was named the Most Improved Player of the Year, with teammate Teagan Irish getting the Scott Taylor Memorial Sportsmanship Award. NPM’s Andy Hermansen was named the Rookie of the Year.
