NTL GOLF: WYALUSING'S SALSMAN, FUHREY MAKE THE CUT AT DISTRICTS (2022-09-30)

WILLIAMSPORT — Wyalusing had two golfers make the cut for the second day at the District IV Championships at Williamsport Country Club on Thursday.

Nick Salsman was tied for 14th after the first day with a 91, while Brody Fuhrey shot a 92 to be tied for 16th. The top 20, plus ties, will compete for the individual title on Saturday.

The Rams finished ninth as a team with a 399. Lourdes won the team title with a 373.

Neither Salsman or Fuhrey had a birdie, but Salsman did have four pars, including three straight from the 14th to the 16th holes.

Fuhrey had five pars, including four straight from the first hole to the fourth.

Also for the Rams, Kaeden Kusmierz shot 105, Conner Smith had a 111, and Trehnon Hugo notched a 121.

The second day of districts will be back at Williamsport Country Club on Saturday with the first group going off at 10 a.m.
