NTL CROSS-COUNTRY: TROY BOYS FINISH IN THE TOP 15 AT MCQUAID (2022-10-01)
Northern Tier Sports ReportROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Troy boys’ cross-country team took 14th at the McQuaid Invitational Boys Varsity A-1 race Saturday.
The Trojans finished with 495 points.
Jacob Hinman (17:58.6) was 75th to lead Troy, while Lance Heasley (18:18) took 98th. Hart Houseknecht (18:25.3) came in 102nd, Brody Campbell (18:28.2) was 104th, and Lucas Loxley (18:56.2) finished 137th to round out their top five.
The Lady Trojans took 28th overall with 678 points in the girls’ A-1 race..
Alyssa Parks (20:29.4) was 49th to lead Troy with Lillian DePew (22:58.1) finishing 155th.
Isis Lyon (23:20.6) took 177th, Rachel Kingsley (23:38.8) was 201st, and Lilly Robbins (25:19.4) rounded out the scorers in 261st.
In the junior high girls’ race Troy’s top finisher was Sheridan Wilcox (11:14.6), who took 27th.
The Troy boys junior high team was fifth with 225 points. Owen Campbell (10:18.8) was 55th to lead the Trojans.
