NTL CROSS-COUNTRY: NEB GIRLS FINISH IN THE TOP 10 AT MCQUAID (2022-10-01)
Northern Tier Sports ReportROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Northeast Bradford girls’ cross-country team took seventh in the McQuaid Invitational Girls Varsity A-1 race Saturday.
The Panthers scored 235 points, just behind Montrose (234), while East Aurora (77) won the team title.
NEB’s Gracelyn Laudermilch (18:46.4) took 10th overall to lead the Panthers, while Anaiah Kolesar (19:19.4) was 20th.
Lilah Hughes (20:29.9) came in 50th, Melanie Shumway (21:07.9) was 87th, and Amelia Kapr (21:23.9) rounded out their scorers in 98th.
The Northeast Bradford boys’ took eighth overall in the A-2 boys varsity race with 305 points.
Creed Dewing (15:48.1) was eighth overall to lead NEB, with Ryan Jones (17:48.7) finishing 67th.
Dayton Russell (17:54.1) took 72nd, Ayden Finch (18:06.9) was 92nd, and Norman Strauss (18:08.6) finished 95th to round out their scorers.
In the junior high race NEB’s top finisher was Kara Dughi (10:28), who finished 10th. Kale Howland (10:32.4) was 69th in the boys’ junior high race to lead NEB.
