NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: MORNINGSTAR NETS 29 BUT WYALUSING DROPS GAME TO BLUE RIDGE (2022-12-03)

SUSQUEHANNA — Blake Morningstar had 29 points but Wyalusing fell to Blue Ridge, 71-47, during the opening round of the Bradford-Susquehanna Challenge during boys’ basketball action Friday.

The Red Raiders jumped out to a 30-16 first quarter lead, and continued to add to it in the second, going up 44-26. Blue Ridge added 21 points in the third to pull away.

Junior Vanderpool added eight points for the Rams as Parker Petlock notched seven, and Hunter House chipped in with three.

Wyalusing will take on Susquehanna Saturday with a 7 p.m. start.
