NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: WYALUSING USES STRONG THIRD QUARTER TO TOP SUSQUEHANNA (2022-12-04)

SUSQUEHANNA — Wyalusing boys’ basketball salvaged their weekend with a 42-34 win over Susquehanna during the Bradford-Susquehanna Challenge on Saturday.

Blake Morningstar led the Rams with 24 points, 18 of them coming in the second half, while Trehnon Hugo chipped in with 11.

Parker Petlock added four, and Thomas Oliver netted three.

Wyalusing held a narrow 9-6 first quarter lead, and Susquehanna stayed with them, keeping it a four point deficit at the half, 17-13.

A 14-point third quarter from Wyalusing saw them get a little more breathing room as they took a 31-24 lead into the final frame. In the fourth they iced the game by going 7-for-8 from the line.
