NTL GOLF: SMITH, HOUSE LEADS WYALUSING TO 4TH PLACE EFFORT (2024-08-30)
Northern Tier Sports ReportTOWANDA — Wyalusing came in fourth at the third NTL match of the season at Towanda Golf Club Thursday.
The Rams finished with 361 strokes, as Athens (338) kept their win streak alive. Towanda (341) edged NPM (341) on tie-breakers to take second, with Wellsboro (380) fifth, CV (424) sixth, and Sayre (531) seventh.
Conner Smith shot an 84 to lead the Rams while Hunter House had a season low 87. Smith had birdies on the par-4 first hole, the par-4 10th hole, and the par-5 15th hole while House had an eagle on the par-5 ninth hole.
Myles Kershner and Lucas Girven both notched a 95, with Girven getting an birdie on the par-5 15th hole, Ashton VandeMark had a 100, and Noah Kilmer finished with a 119.
Wyalusing will travel to Corey Creek next Tuesday with a 1 p.m. start.
