TOWANDA — Towanda edged NP-Liberty, 3-2, during non-league girls’ tennis action Thursday.

The Knights swept the singles matches as Lainey Alderfer defeated Anne Johns 6-3, 7-5 at first singles, Nadia Alderfer beat Elyna Booth 6-2, 6-2 at second singles, and Emma Ackley won 7-5, 6-2 over Elena Hazleton at third singles.

NPL took both doubles matches as Ellie Brion and Ciana Keiser won 7-5, 6-3 over Jayden Conklin and Maddie Blanchard.

At second doubles Olivia Burrows and Roslyn Williams beat Jenalee Coe and Dalila Vega 5-7, 6-1, (10-4).

Towanda will host CV with a 2 p.m. start on Friday. If the Knights win they’ll clinch an NTL title.
