NTL GIRLS' SOCCER: NEB HAS STRONG DEFENSIVE EFFORT IN LOSS TO WARRIOR RUN (2024-09-28)
Northern Tier Sports ReportROME — Northeast Bradford gave a strong defensive effort in their 4-0 loss to Warrior Run during non-league girls’ soccer action Saturday.
Taking on the second ranked team in District IV, Class AA the Panthers were down just 1-0 at the half before Warrior Run pushed three more across in the second half. Raygan Lust led the Defenders with two goals.
Warrior Run out shot NEB 42-11, and had an 8-0 edge in corner kicks. Leah Beebe made 42 saves I net for the Panthers.
NEB (2-10-2) will finish the season with four straight road games, beginning at Wyalusing on Tuesday with a 4 p.m. start.
