NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: TROY PUTTING IN THE WORK AS THEY WAIT FOR FOOTBALL (2024-11-21)

TROY — While every other boys’ basketball team in the league is several practices deep with their full roster, Troy is still waiting for half their players.

However, it’s a problem the team welcomes.

“Obviously, we have some different circumstances to get started with, but we couldn’t be more excited of those circumstances with our football guys,” said Troy coach Bob Woodward. “We have over half of our team still playing football, and we’re going to come and do the fundamentals here, and cheer them on as long as we can.”

While the football team makes their run through the playoffs the rest of the boys’ hoops team will be preparing to defend their own league title this winter.
