NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: WAY LEADS WYALUSING PAST CV (2021-02-26)

WESTFIELD — Wyalusing defeated CV 65-45 in NTL boys’ basketball action on Wednesday.

Isaiah Way had 23 points and five steals to lead the Rams as Blake Morningstar finished with 10 points, four boards and two steals.

Grayden Cobb, Nolan Oswalt and Abram Bennett had six points apiece. Oswalt added four boards as Bennett had five rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Kashawn Cameron netted four points to go with three steals, while Mitchell Burke had two points and four rebounds.

McGuire Painter had 30 points to lead CV.

The Rams hit four 3-pointers in the first quarter to take a 16-13 lead, all but two of CV’s points were scored by Painter. 

Way and Morningstar had six points each to give the Rams a 30-21 lead at the half. A 17-9 third quarter helped them pull away for the win.
