NTL GIRLS' BASKETBALL: NEUBER LEADS NEB PAST NP-LIBERTY (2021-02-27)

LIBERTY — Maisie Neuber netted 38 points as NEB finished out the regular season with a 70-45 win over NP-Liberty in NTL girls’ basketball action Saturday.

Neuber also had 11 boards, six steals and two blocks in the victory as Alena Beebe netted 12 points to go with five assists and three steals.

Lauryn Jones had 10 points, eight boards, four assists and three steals as Kate O’Connor finished with eight points, 11 boards and three blocks.

Lani Thomas rounded out the scorers with two points to go with three steals, while Julia Brown had four boards, and Meg Russell grabbed three.

NEB will now wait to see who they play in the District IV, Class AA girls’ basketball quarterfinal next week.
