NTL GIRLS' SOCCER: TOWANDA LOSES CLOSE ONE TO ATHENS(August 28, 2025) Northern Tier Sports Report ATHENS — Towanda fell in another tough girls’ soccer match, dropping a hard fought defensive battle to Athens 1-0 Thursday.
Olivia Thompson’s first half goal was the difference in the contest.
Athens out shot Towanda 13-0 and had a 3-1 edge in corner kicks.
Mya Maynard made 14 saves in net for the Knights.
