NTL VOLLEYBALL: NEB FALLS AT MOUNTAIN VIEW (August 30, 2025)

KINGSLEY — In a rematch of the first round of states last year NEB fell to Mountain View 3-0 during non-league volleyball action Saturday.

Mountain View won the sets 25-10, 25-21, and 25-16.

Sayde Heines had two kills, and two points for NEB as Brianna Pelka had two kills, one point, and five digs.

Allie Kuhn had one kill, four digs, and one assist, as Orissa Gardner had a kill with one block.

Jaylin Wheaton had four points while Ella Cooley had four assists, and one dig. Cheyenne Mahoney had two points with one dig, as Nevaeh Potts had four points, and one assist.

NEB rallied to win the JV match. Mountain View took the first set 25-19, while the Panthers won the next two 25-22 and 15-8.

Charity Coon had two aces with one kill, McKenna Taylor notched three aces, and Carlie Wheaton had a kill with four aces.
