NTL VOLLEYBALL: TOWANDA'S RALLY AGAINST ATHENS COMES UP SHORT (September 30, 2025)

TOWANDA — Towanda fell to Athens, 3-1, during NTL volleyball action Tuesday.

The Wildcats took the first two sets 25-19 and 25-19, while the Knights rallied for a 25-23 win in the third set.

Athens pulled away in the fourth set 25-15.

Kylee Barnes had eight blocks, five kills, and two points for Towanda as Karis Flynn had 22 assists, 18 digs, four kills, one block, and three points.

Brooklyn Evans notched 14 digs, 10 points, four aces, and four kills, with Addy Barrett getting six kills, and a block.

Brynsen Vargason notched 17 digs, three points, and an ace, as Lariah Long had five digs, three kills, and three points.

Caedence Wells notched seven digs, and two points, as Hannah Crawford had four kills. Alyssa Rankin finished with two kills, six digs, two points, and one ace, with Ali Hollett getting three points, and two digs.

LilyAnn Sproule notched a kill, with Layla Longcoy adding a point.

Towanda pulled out a 2-1 win in the JV match. Towanda won the first set 25-23, but Towanda came back with a 25-23 second set victory, then eked out a 15-12 win in the deciding set.

Hollett had 17 points, seven aces, eight assists, and one dig as Molly Roberts notched nine digs, three kills, and two points.

London Decker had five kills, seven points, three blocks, two digs, and an ace with Sadie Overpeck getting three points, an ace, six digs, three assists, and two kills.

Lennon Rice notched five points, an ace, seven digs, three kills, and a block, as Sam Hartigan had 11 digs with one kill.

Emma Space had four points, two aces, three kills, and a dig, as well.
