Northern Tier Sports ReportWAVERLY, N.Y. — Troy competed at the Waverly Summer League, along with Towanda and Wyalusing, with Wednesday being the final day of the regular season.
Troy beat NP-Mansfield (49-30) while Towanda won over Tioga (26-23), but then lost to Corning (68-53).
Candor defeated Wyalusing (46-33), as Wellsboro won over Waverly (41-39).
Edison defeated Horseheads (41-39), and Corning beat Athens (62-44).
The playoff seedings are set, with Wyalusing taking on Corning at 4:30 p.m. next Wednesday, followed by Towanda facing Waverly at 5:30 p.m.
Candor will face Athens at 4:30 p.m. in the middle school gym, with Troy facing off against Wellsboro at 5:30 p.m.
The semifinals are at 6:30 p.m., followed by the finals at 7:30 p.m.
