Northern Tier Sports ReportTIOGA JUNCTION — The Towanda junior high volleyball team won the championship trophy at Williamson’s tournament on October 18.
The Black Knights went 8-3 to win their pool, then beat NEB and Canton in the first two rounds to reach the finals.
They split the first two sets with NP-Liberty, then rallied from a 9-6 deficit in the third set to score six of the next seven points to take it 12-10.
