Northern Tier Sports ReportIt was a busy week with championship titles, runner-ups, state medals, and the opening of the football playoffs - with the performances to match.
On the girls’ side Troy freshman Izzy Renzi had the best game of her short career in the shutout against Hughesville to send the Trojans to the title game. She also had a strong game against Central Columbia in the championship game as they held the Blue Jays to just two goals, earning her the Female Athlete of the Week honors.
Troy football ran all over Wellsboro with 329-yards and six touchdowns. Kael Millard had 51 of those yards and lead blocked for several others, earning him the Male Athlete of the Week honors.
