Northern Tier Sports ReportThe Troy girls’ soccer team are making their first appearance in the state playoffs and it’s right into the fire as they face defending state champions, Northwestern Lehigh at 5 p.m. on Tuesday down there.
NW Lehigh comes in 26-0 with a 1-0 win over Allentown Central Catholic in the District XI title game.
Other key wins on the year are 4-0 over Central Columbia, and 3-2 in overtime against Abington Heights, two teams Troy lost to on the season.
NW Lehigh has scored 162 goals on the season while allowing just nine.
