Northern Tier Sports ReportCanton’s Lawrence Halbfoerster and Wellsboro’s Lauren Kosek are the NTL Runner’s of the Year as the coaches released their cross-country all-stars.
On the boys’ side the first team consists of Towanda’s Boom Thompson, Emmett Klees, and Hagen Jones, NEB’s Jackson Martin, Troy’s RJ Bellinger, Wyalusing’s Aidan Neiley, and NPM’s James ‘Michael’ Knefley.
The second team is made up of Sullivan County’s Calen Sweigart and Carter Blasi, Towanda’s Phillip Spinney, CV’s Hunter Simonds, Athens’ Jacob Shores, Canton’s Manuel Halbfoerster, NEB’s Russell Martin, and Wellsboro’s Max Macias.
For the girls’ first team its Towanda’s Maris Cobb, Kenzie Brown, and Izzy Larson, NEB’s Sophie Bennett, Athens’ Alissa Vough, NPM’s Jaci Fairchild, and Sullivan County’s Zoey Reese.
The second team is made up of Towanda’s Mary-Kate Eberlin and Lila Larson, NEB’s Ruth Laudermilch, Sullivan’s Addisyn Templin, Paige Jordan, and Adilynn Thibodault, and CV’s Natalie Yonker.
