NTL FOOTBALL: TROY'S GILLILAND IS THE 2025 NTL PLAYER OF THE YEAR (2025-12-17)

Troy’s Brendan Gilliland headlines the NTL Large School Football All-stars as the 2025 Player of the Year.

Teammate Mason Smith is the Offensive Player of the Year, while center Micah Pesesky is the Lineman of the Year.

Jim Smith and his coaching staff are the Coaching Staff of the Year.

Athens’ Brenden Comstock is the Defensive Player of the Year.

The first team offense consists of NPM’s Luke Kreger as utility, while Smith and Athens’ Connor Davidson are the first team quarterbacks.

Gilliland, teammate Kael Millard, and Athens’ Karson Sipley are the first team running backs, with Athens’ James Friend, and Troy’s Trey Teribury the first team wide receivers.

Trojan Reed Palmer is the first team tight end, with Trojans Pesesky, Seth Feldmeier, and Camden Coyle on the first team line. The other linemen are Wellsboro’s Hayden Stevens, and Comstock.

Troy’s Gavin Lykon-Leffler is the first team kicker.

On defense the three tackles are Coyle, Feldmeier, and Comstock, while the defensive ends are Troy’s Roland Smith, Palmer, and Sipley.

Troy’s Jayden Kutt, and Gilliland are the linebackers, along with Wellsboro’s Kody Enck, and Wyalusing’s Ethan Vanderpool.

In the defensive backfield the first teamer are Smith, Logunn Heasley, Josiah Pesesky, Wellsboro’s Marek Mascho, Athens’ Lucas Persun, and Kreger.

The first team punter is Canton’s Bailey Gardner.

The second team utility is Mascho, while the second team quarterback is Wellsboro’s Griffin Morral.

The second team running backs are Gardner, and Vanderpool, with Canton’s Ryder Route and Athens’ Gage Marmor the second team receivers.

Wellsboro’s Kody Enck is the second team tight end, while the second team linemen are Troy’s Evan Slater and Christian Pazzaglia, Athens’ Chase Wren, NPM’s Skyler Everetts, and Towanda’s Kolton McPeak.

Canton’s Alexis McRoberts is the second team kicker.

The second team defensive tackles are Wren, Everetts, and Wellsboro’s Jorden Hines, while the end is Stevens.

The second team linebackers are Canton’s Marcus Solomon, Athens’ Brady Flynn, and McPeak, while the defensive backs are Troy’s Spencer Martin, Morral, and Towanda’s Tanner Vanderpool.
