Northern Tier Sports ReportWYALUSING — Five different Wyalusing players hit double figures as they routed Sayre, 89-23, during NTL boys’ basketball action Thursday.
Tyler Caplan had 18 points to lead the Rams with Noah Kilmer, and Myles Kershner scoring 15 points each.
Aidan Neiley finished with 11, as Jared VandeMark chipped in with 10.
Bradyn Johnson had nine points, Shay Gartland scored seven, with Mason Culver, and Parker Cunningham getting two points apiece.
Wyalusing was hot from the start, racking up a 36-13 first quarter lead behind 15 field goals. Caplan had 12 points to lead the Rams while Kershner netted 10.
Wyalusing kept it going in the second with 27 more points to take a 63-18 lead into the locker rooms.
Kilmer had the hot hand during that stretch, scoring eight points, with Johnson adding six.
The Rams would go on to out score Sayre 26-5 in the second half with Neiley and VandeMark leading the way during that stretch as they scored five points apiece.
Wyalusing (3-3) will host Troy on Tuesday as they start divisional play.
