Kicking off the college wrestling weekend is Lock Haven as they traveled to battle the Big Ten. First stop, Lock Haven paid a visit to number 25 Wisconsin. A tough task ahead of Lock Haven but a needed test to have the wrestlers compete against an out of conference team.
Williamson grad, Kade Sottolano took to the mat facing number 9 ranked Braxton Amos. Sottolano battled Amos for 7 minutes, however, in the end lost by a 4-1 decision. The team lost the dual by a 24-11 score. Next up for Lock Haven a battle with another Big Ten opponent in Northwestern.
