AOW: TOWANDA'S WOODRUFF, FARRELL HAVE BIG WEEKS ON THE COURT (2025-12-28)

It was Christmas week, plus a little bit of inclement, kept the games to a minimum, but there were plenty of big performances in the contests that did happen.On the girls’ side Towanda’s Brynn Woodruff bookended the week with big games, scoring 17 points in a win over Elk Lake, then adding 18 more in the win over Ithaca to be the Female Athlete of the Week.

For the boys Darrius Farrell averaged 11 points per game as Towanda 2-1 in the hard court, including a big win over then undefeated Sullivan County to be the Male Athlete of the Week.
