Northern Tier Sports ReportLAPORTE — Sullivan County rolled past Sayre, 58-17, during non-league boys’ hoops action Monday.
The Griffins led 23-1 after the first quarter and never looked back.
Cayden Smithkors had a double-double of 11 points, and 10 boards for Sullivan, as Lucas King added 10 points, and three steals.
Jaiden Moore netted nine points, as Tucker Blasi finished with eight points.
Colin King had six points, and six rebounds, with Ryan Murray getting two points, and seven rebounds.
Dom Marotti chipped in with four points, as Carter Blasi finished with two.
Declan Barry had six points to lead Sayre.
Smithkors had seven points in the opening frame to lead Sullivan, as Lucas King hit two 3-balls.
Moore would score all nine of his points in the second quarter to put the Griffins up 40-3 at the half.
Sullivan won the JV game 44-14 as Calen Sweigart netted 10.
The Griffins (8-2) will host South Williamsport on Wednesday.
