ATHENS — Canton fell on the road to Athens, 39-21, during NTL wrestling action on Tuesday.

The Warriors won four weights - getting a forfeit from Trapper Burr (172), while picking up falls from Carson Rockwell (160), and Leland Pepper (215).

Carson Castle (114) scored a 7-6 win over Joshua Saxon for their other win.

They lost a couple decisions, with Levi Vermilya (107) falling to Chace VanDyke 19-15, while Tommy Preston (145) fell 9-3 to Treyton Barrett.

The Wildcats got two forfeits from Brenden Comstock (285), and Connor Garrison (133), while getting falls out of Zaine Campbell (127), and Wyatt Clink (152).

Lucas Persun (139) earned a 20-4 tech fall over Gavin Sharp, and Brendan Cooke (189) picked up a 12-3 major decision against Blane Wesneski.

Canton (4-5) will travel to Wellsboro on Wednesday.
