Northern Tier Sports ReportWYALUSING — Wyalusing jumped out fast and never looked back as they rolled past Williamson, 63-23, during NTL girls’ hoops action Tuesday.
The Rams led 28-5 after the first quarter and just kept adding to their lead from there.
Jenna Morningstar led three Wyalusing players in double figures with 16 points, as Alysha Botts added 15, and Emily Johns scored 14.
Liz Kilmer netted six, Treanna Nickeson had five, Ireland Coats with three, and Brinley Sterling, and Camryn Gesford both scored two points apiece.
Jocelyn Colegrove had six points to lead the Warriors.
The Rams had 12 field goals in the first quarter, as Morningstar, and Botts had nine points each, while Johns scored six.
They slowed down some in the second frame, out scoring Williamson 10-5 to take a 38-10 lead at the half.
They picked it back up in the third, netting 15 points behind six from Johns, to build a 53-16 lead.
Morningstar had seven points to lead Wyalusing in the fourth.
Wyalusing (8-6) will travel to NP-Liberty on Thursday.
