NTL BOYS' BASKETBALL: TROY ROUTS SAYRE (2026-01-21)

TROY — Every player in the scorebook saw the ball go through the hoop for Troy as they rolled past Sayre, 86-21, during NTL boys’ hoops action Wednesday.

Troy led 23-8 after one, and kept building the lead after that.

Spencer Martin, and Trey Teribury had five points each, as Martin added six boards, five assists, and two steals, while Trey had five assists, and three steals.

Aiden Lawrence notched 11 points, four rebounds, and two steals, with Josiah Pesesky getting a double-double of 10 points, and 10 rebounds, to go with two steals.

Cameron Morey had nine points, with Evan Allen, and Pryor Teribury scoring six points apiece. Pryor also had eight boards, and two steals.

James Roy had four points, and two steals, with Vinnie Colton, Landon Cole, and Brody Ayres all scoring two points. Cole also had four boards, and two steals.

Troy hit five 3-balls to open the game, four of them coming from the Teriburys. 

In the second they out scored Williamson 30-7 as Trey and Spencer had nine points each, while Morey scored five to take a 53-15 lead at the half.

A 14-3 third quarter by Troy secured the win. Six different players scored, led by four from Allen. 

In the fourth Lawrence had nine points to lead Troy’s 19 point effort.

Troy (8-6) will travel to Williamson on Friday.
