Northern Tier Sports ReportBEDFORD — Northeast Bradford had two medalists at the Thomas Automotive Wrestling Tournament on Saturday.
Mason Alexander (114) took fourth, with freshman Asher Kolesar (189) coming in eighth.
Alexander lost by tech fall in the semifinals, 18-2, but rallied to win 19-8 in the consolation semifinals. In the bronze medal match had was pinned in 2:08.
Alexander went 3-2 on the weekend.
Kolesar (189) won 10-6 in the blood round to get into the medals, but then lost 7-3 to fall into the seventh place bout. There he lost 13-1.
Kolesar went 3-3 on the weekend.
Alex Gomez (145) came up just short of the medals, getting pinned in the blood round in 1:22. He went 3-2 on the weekend.
