Northern Tier Sports ReportTOWANDA — The Towanda boys swim team defeated Jersey Shore, 124-10, on Saturday.
The Lady Knights fell 81-4.
On the boys’ side Towanda’s team of Curtis Carter, Andrew Manley, Kellen Colton, and Nathan Little won the 200 medley relay in 2:12.85, while the foursome of Travyn Lewis, Matthew Weinman, Brennick Lain, and Braydin Mattison took second 2:21.73.
Towanda’s Kenneth Carle won the 200 free in 2:14.47, with Xander Pratt (2:39.53), and Mattison (3:12.46) second, and third.
The Knights swept the 50 free with Shane Maghamez (25.61), Lake Strickland (26.79), and Manley (27.95).
Lain won the diving with a score of 204.95.
Lain (1:09.66) won the 100 fly, with Colton (1:11.02) in second.
Carle (59.48), and Strickland (1:01.97) went 1-2 in the 100 free as Little (1:19.37) taking fourth.
Pratt (2:23.37) won the 500 with Lewis (7:23.89) in second, while Cooper Chamberlain (7:50.73) in third.
The Towanda team of Colton, Carle, Maghamez, and Lain won the 200 free relay in 1:46.74, with the team of Strickland, Carter, Manley, and Weinman in second at 1:59.69.
Maghamez (1:05.75) won the 100 backstroke as Carter (1:19.53), and Lewis (1:33.86) were third, and fourth.
Manley (1:21.98) won the 100 breaststroke, as Weinman (1:31.27) came in second.
The 400 free relay team of Strickland, Pratt, Maghamez, and Carle (4:22.22) won with Chamberlain, Little, Mattison, and Lewis (5:19.92) came in second.
On the girls’ side Reagan Deacon (33.44) was fourth in the 50 free, and fourth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:33.24.
