SYRACUSE — The Waverly-based Red Wave AAU basketball program crowned three division champions here over the weekend at the Lakeshore Showdown.
The 11th- & 12th-grade, and 4th- & 5th-grade boys teams, and the 6th- & 7th-grade girls teams each went 2-0 to win division titles.
The 11th- & 12th-grade Red Wave team, coached by Lou Judson, beat the Athens Wildcats, 62-44, and Beat Interstate AAU, 58-22.
The 4th- & 5th-grade Red Wave team, coached by Lou Judson, beat the FM Flames, 31-25, and then beat the Salt City Ballers, 50-15.
The 6th- & 7th-grade Red Wave girls team, coached by Jennifer Judson and Ryan Vannoy, beat the Southern Tier Rage, 42-4, then beat Palooka, 36-10.
