The Sports Reports cover a wide-ranging area that has become a hotbed of high school volleyball, and our Ziff Law Firm All-Region teams reflect the immense talent that New York’s Southern Tier and Pennsylvania’s Northern Tier has to offer.
The Sports Reports' 2025 All-Region "Volleyball Player of the Year" is Candor’s Emmi Makie. The junior led the Lady Coyotes to a Section IV title and into the State’s final four, collecting 266 kills, 218 service points and 100 digs for our All-Region "Coach of the Year," Candor’s Pam Quinlan, who now has five state finals appearances, as well as six Final Four appearances, four state titles, and 15 Section IV titles to her credit.
Troy senior Aryana Andrus led the Lady Trojans to an NTL and District IV title, racking up 408 kills and 106 points with 42 aces, making her the All-Region Volleyball "Offensive Player of the Year."
Corning won a Section IV title, thanks in large part to third team All-State selection junior Sam Molingou’s strong presence at the net, where The Sports Reports All-Region "Defensive Player of the Year" had 56 blocks and added 167 kills and 24 digs.
The Sports Reports Volleyball "Versatility Award" goes to Williamson senior Raegan VanGorden, who led the Lady Warriors to an NTL Small School title by excelling all over the court — collecting 510 assists, 210 service points with 50 aces, 216 digs and 63 kills.
The "Breakout Player of the Year" is Candor junior Mailey Heidl, who had 510 assists, 189 points with 48 aces, 177 kills and 55 digs.
Corning’s Paisley Emmick is the "Newcomer of the Year." The sophomore was a vital part of the Hawks’ Section IV title in her first season of varsity action, collecting 533 assists, 138 digs, 20 kills and 15 blocks.
