NTL GIRLS BASKETBALL: FOUR RAMS HIT DOUBLE FIGURES AS WYALUSING ROLLS PAST CV (2026-01-27)

WYALUSING — Wyalusing rolled to a 73-17 win over CV on senior night during NTL girls’ hoops action Tuesday.

The Rams jumped out to a 25-2 first quarter lead and never looked back.

Emily Johns and Alysha Botts each had 17 points to lead four Wyalusing players in double figures, as Treanna Nickeson netted 11, and Brinley Sterling scored 10.

Jenna Morningstar notched eight, Camryn Gesford scored four, with Liz Kilmer, Riley O’Connor, and Alyssa Baldwin both netting two.

Starr Ordway had six to lead CV.

Johns had nine in the opening frame as Botts notched eight to give the big early lead.

The Rams added 16 more points to go up 41-7 at the half as Botts scored seven to lead the way.

Wyalusing tacked on 22 more points in the third, behind six from Johns, as seven Rams found the basket in the frame.

Sterling had five to lead Wyalusing in the fourth.

Wyalusing (10-7) have a big league contest as they host Troy on Thursday.

Their win coupled with Towanda’s loss to NEB moves Wyalusing into second place in the division, and two games back of league leading Troy.
